This is an excerpt from Pastor Dani, standing up against hypocrisy in the government and calling the people of the church to stand up and serve the people who are hurting because the government has refused to do so. There are links to the news stories he is talking about.

Money-50-Euro_32705-480x360Enough already! … More and more people in Spain are affected by evictions every day. Now people who are about to lose their homes because banks have no mercy when it comes to foreclosures are committing suicide! Do we expect the government to stop this? People are placing their faith in their leaders …

WHILE BANKS ARE ASKING EUROPE AND THE SPANISH GOVERNMENT BAIL THEM OUT FROM THIER DEBTS, THEY HAVE NO PROBLEMS TAKING HOMES FROM PEOPLE WHO OWE THEM … ENOUGH ALREADY! …

All this reminds me of Jesus’ parable in Matthew 18:23-34 (although there was referring to the offenses, but the principle is the same). They ask for postponements and new economic aid and at the same time the take food from people’s mouths and take their homes …. This is a grave SIN!!

All that is happening in the world and especially in these days in Europe and Spain, cries to heaven … Enough of such “legal usury”. Usury is a sin and now it is killing and enslaving people.

It is sin when you charge € 15 on your bank account and then the bank charges you a € 30 commission!

Are the Bishops out on the streets protesting … or will they only be moved when the government takes a cathedral?

I’ve grown tired of it all …. and I say, I will also do something … we will do something … I have dedicated my life to serving God and people …. and will continue to do so, even as the day gets darker, but I will not remain silent and I will say that usury is SIN and Europe has legalized it.

Please pray for the church in Spain as they look for ways to reach out to people who are suffering and pray that Christ will raise up the church and that followers of Christ will listen to his voice and look for opportunities to minister to those in need around them.
