¿Snow In Mexico?

They were predicting all week that there would be snow in some parts of San Diego and Mexico.  It was said to be a “once in a generation” storm and last night it hit leaving about 3 inches of snow in some areas.  Right now we are literally driving to Tucson for a missions conference and who would have thought we’d see snow on our way out of Mexico!
We are used to dealing with snow on our way home to Mexico but never on our way out.  That said snow actually isn’t as rare as you might think.  It actually snows at least once a year in the ranch areas where our church is and not too far from there is a mountain community called “La Rumorosa” that gets regular snow through out the winter.
What made this storm so rare and exciting though was that it snowed in San Diego county as low as 700 feet.
It was a cold one but what a nice view as we hit the road for Tucson.
