This Sunday we celebrated Jesus’ victory over death with a special services all weekend long and a church day in the park to cap it all off!
We started with the Culto de Las 7 Palabras in which members of the leadership team all take one or two of Jesus’ last statements and share their thoughts on the text and an encouraging word.
On Saturday the children from WTK joined us for a day of fun at our house with egg decorating, a story and of course an egg hunt in the yard.
Sunday morning was kicked off with a full house atendance for the Sunrise Service and then a day at the park where we held our anual egg hunt and chicken fry. The kids and their parents gathered around to hear the story of Jesus’ victory over death before the kids scoured the park in in search of over 400 eggs.
The day ended on a high note with everyone going home happy, well fed and suguared up. Best of all they went home celebrating and knowing that Christ has risen and HIS victory is OUR victory.
